Halo Water Proofing has been the Helmsburg area's go-to call for Exterior Waterproofing because we answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind the work.
We're Halo Water Proofing — a IN-licensed, fully insured waterproofing outfit that's spent years learning exactly how water moves through Helmsburg-area foundations, and exactly how to stop it.
We don't send apprentices to figure it out on your dime. Every Helmsburg job is run by a technician who has done this exact repair dozens of times, with a supervisor who signs off before we call it finished.
One call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment window — not a call-back promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Helmsburg customers didn't wake up one day with a flooded basement. It usually started small. These are the early signs worth calling about.
A musty smell in the basement or crawl space is usually moisture you can't see yet, not just "old house smell."
Even small cracks are worth a second look — they rarely stay small once seasonal ground movement gets involved.
Efflorescence is a clear sign that water is actively passing through your Helmsburg foundation wall, even if you've never seen standing water.
A sump pump that never stops cycling is often working harder than it should, or is undersized for your Helmsburg lot's water table.
A bowing basement wall is a structural concern in addition to a water one — this is the kind of Helmsburg call we prioritize fast.
Peeling paint low on a basement wall or warped baseboards upstairs often trace back to moisture migrating up from below.
From an emergency pump swap at 2 a.m. to a full exterior drainage system, this is the work we do in Helmsburg every day.
Standing water in your basement doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Helmsburg emergency crews pump out the basement first, then diagnose the entry point so it doesn't happen again next storm.
Call for Emergency Service →Freeze-thaw cycles in Helmsburg, IN push existing cracks wider every winter, which is why we recommend sealing them before they become an active leak rather than after.
Get a Crack Assessment →A tired or undersized sump pump is the #1 reason we get emergency calls in Helmsburg after heavy rain. We install battery backup units so your basement stays dry even if the power goes out mid-storm.
Schedule a Pump Inspection →For Helmsburg properties fighting grading or drainage issues, an exterior French drain can intercept water before it ever reaches the foundation wall at all. We map your yard's slope and water flow before recommending which approach fits.
Ask About Drain Systems →Musty smell upstairs that you can't explain? It's usually the crawl space. Our Helmsburg crews encapsulate the space fully — floor, walls, and vents — so moisture stops migrating into your living areas.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →Commercial properties in Helmsburg carry bigger stakes when water gets in: inventory, tenants, downtime. We scope commercial jobs with the same crew leads who run our residential work, backed by written specs and timelines.
Request a Commercial Quote →No confusing steps, no hard sell — just the same process our Helmsburg crews follow on every job.
We start with a phone conversation, not a script — enough to know whether this is an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
We walk the space with you, point out what we find, and explain it in plain language — no jargon, no pressure.
No verbal estimates that change later. What's quoted for your Helmsburg job is what's invoiced.
Our crew completes the work, cleans up the site, and walks you through the warranty coverage on what was installed.
There's no verbal quote that magically grows once the crew arrives at your Helmsburg property — the written estimate is the final word.
Because we're actually based near Helmsburg rather than routing calls through a national center, we can usually get someone out the same day you call.
If a covered repair fails, we come back and make it right. That's written into every contract, not just promised on the phone.
We'd rather earn a repeat customer with an honest small fix than push a system you don't need.
We document the damage with photos and a written scope your insurance adjuster can actually use, and we'll walk you through the claim process.
